Fansipan Climbing – Halong Bay Tour – 6 Days

DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL - STREET FOOD TOUR - NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA
You are welcomed by our guide and driver then transfer to the city central. We start a half day walking tour of Hanoi and street food before leaving for the railway station.
Visit: Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi Opera house, Hanoi cathedral, visit Dong Xuan market and start our street food tour in Ta Hien – Luong Ngoc Quyen – Hang Giay – Dao Duy Tu streets, where shows many kinds of local and traditional dishes. Here, you will have a chance to try Bun Cha (a type of noodle soup with pork BBQ). All of the preparation and content are explained by the guide. The guide also tells the daily life of the common Vietnamese, experiencing something that the Vietnamese used a lot in cooking, dried foods, spices and fresh herbs. You also have chance to taste the Hanoi's specialties Banh Cuon – the dish that made from a thin, wide sheet of steamed rice. This is one of the most famous dishes in Ha Noi and has been along with Hanoian for years. The tour ends with a cup of Egg Coffee at Nguyen Huu Huan Street.
20.30: We leave for Hanoi railway station for night train to Sapa.

DAY 02: SAPA - TRAM TON - 2800m (B, L, D)
Arrive Lao Cai station in the early morning, pick up and transfer to Sapa, having breakfast before starting the trip to Fansipang peak, you are having a couple of interesting days waiting ahead. You are having a couple of interesting days waiting ahead. You travel by car toward the Silver Waterfall where you will be able to take a short walk to the waterfall. You will then drive further to Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. From there you can see Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains as well as enjoy stunning views. The trek will be relatively soft until lunchtime. After a couple of hours of hiking, you will have a break at a nice spot in the forest and enjoy a good lunch.
With new energy you start ascending as well as descending towards the campsite. En route you have many opportunities to enjoy the scenery and magnificent views to Sapa area and beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. You will arrive to the campsite at 2800m ASL in the late afternoon. Now it is time to relax and enjoy a well prepared dinner.

Approx: 0, 5 hour driving/ 6 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch.

DAY 03: 2800m - THE TOP OF FANSIPAN - CABLE CAR BACK TO SAPA - NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI (B, L, D)
After having breakfast, you climb to the top, where you can celebrate your victory. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for an unforgettable experience from the top then descending by cable car.
In the evening, we will take the night train back to Hanoi.

DAY 04: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B, L, D) – By shuttle bus/ no guide
Arrival Hanoi in the early morning, our driver will pick you up your hotel in Hanoi for breakfast and waiting for the bus to pick you up to Halong bay (No room is available – Free time to walk around to visit the city/ No guide).
09.00: We depart Hanoi for Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong bay has more than 1.000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes
Upon arrival at Halong Bay we embark on a boat trip to cruise discovering this magnificent UNESCO World Wonder. This is a great journey among surreal islands rising from a tranquil emerald sea. You will visit several key locations.
Visits:
– One of the most stunning caves of Halong Bay
– Stop at a beautiful beach and take a refreshing swim or sunbathe on the sundeck; take a short trek to the nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay.
Back onboard the junk, you will watch the sunset and be served a sumptuous dinner, with cocktails available for purchase from the bar. You will spend the night onboard the junk, in a cabin with an ensuite bathroom.

DAY 05: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B, Brunch) – By shuttle bus/ no guide
Early morning coffee and tea will be served on the sundeck followed by a Tai Chi class. After breakfast we take a Sampan boat or Kayak to explore the bay. We may have a chance to see the wild monkeys that gather around waiting for food from the tourists. After that we continue to cruise around the bay. Lunch is served on the boat on our way back to the docks then we transfer back to Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 06: HANOI DEPARTURE (B) – Private car, no guide.
Full day is free time at your leisure.
Our driver will pick you up from the hotel to the airport for your departure flight .
End of all the services.
